Our team is comprised of warm and loving individuals who are highly qualified professionals in early childhood education and represent different cultures and backgrounds. We strive to be relationship-based, creating a unique and safe atmosphere for your little ones, from infants to school age. All activities are tailored to each individual’s interests and level of development to ensure every child feels safe, nurtured, and loved. At All About Me your child will be engaged in age-appropriate and stimulating activities designed to stimulate their intellectual, emotional, and physical development.

OUR FOUNDERS

“Since the doors opened to the first All About Me Early Learning Center in June of 1989, AAM has continued to provide the highest quality care and education in a warm and loving family environment. It has been the goal of the DeAngelo family to be the epicenter of multicultural education.

Ever since her first job as a teacher in a small hometown daycare center, Michele DeAngelo knew she wanted to provide more than just exceptional childcare. She wanted to develop a curriculum that would make every child love and accept themselves and develop a lasting love of learning. She knew it would take a family to provide the best care and she and her husband Michael did just that, as they created their All About Me Family. As the All About Me Family grew, the DeAngelo family did as well. Michele and Michael went on to have four children of their own. Over the next few decades, AAM has continued to innovate, develop, and grow on the values the company is built upon.

Alongside Michele and Michael, their sons Dylan and Evan, and daughter Dayna, continue the AAM legacy while carrying the same passion as their parents. They each went off to pursue degrees and experience in education and business fields. Dylan, Evan, and Dayna have since taken integral roles in the All About Me company as they carry on the uncompromisable values and principles of AAM. The DeAngelo family continues to innovate and establish All About Me as the premier early learning center building strong foundations for children.”

Hands-On Approach

Our hands-on approach focuses on allowing children to learn by doing. When children engage in hands-on activities and experiences it encourages multitasking through listening, speaking, touching, and using the five senses to explore the environment. Hands-on learning encourages children to use their imagination, build on their creativity, and develop and strengthen their critical thinking skills. Our hands-on approach encourages our children to learn by partaking in activities, and while they partake in these activities our teachers guide them to new discoveries. Our hands-on approach ensures that learning is fun and exciting for all our children!

Integrated Curriculum

Our integrated curriculum allows children to pursue learning holistically, without the restrictions often imposed by subject boundaries. Our fully integrated curriculum brings together all the aspects of each child including their life experiences and prior knowledge and uses this as a foundation to build on. Our integrated curriculum unifies topics taught in the classroom, children’s experiences, practical real-life knowledge and skills. Our curriculum brings together the knowledge of children and how they learn best!

Multicultural Education

Since opening our doors in 1989 it has been the goal of All About Me Early Learning Centers to be the epicenter of multicultural education. We seek to create and sustain an environment that is all-inclusive, welcoming and accepting of children and families of every race, religion, socio-economic status, and ability. We feel as though children should be integrated with people from around the world because it is a true reflection of society. At its core, multicultural education fosters equality, justice, and equity. At All About Me, we thrive on diversity!

Our Teachers

At All About Me we understand the importance of providing our children with a nurturing and educational environment during their formative years. That is why we have a team of highly educated, experienced, and passionate teachers who are dedicated to guiding our children during these early stages. Our teachers have extensive training in child development and teaching methodologies. Our teachers are highly experienced in understanding all children’s unique needs and abilities. At All About Me, we select our team based on their warm personalities, extensive experience, and drive to be educators to our future generations. As safety is our main concern, all teachers are CPR and First-Aid certified. Our teachers are enthusiastic, compassionate, and patient, and create a warm and welcoming atmosphere that fosters learning and growth. Their goal is to help every child develop the skills and confidence they need to thrive both academically and socially. We take great pride in our team of educators!

Our Philosophy

It has been said that the first five years of a child’s life are the formative years. We believe that cognitive growth is most rapid during these early childhood years. We strive to provide a wide variety of experiences, not only to encourage each child’s intellectual growth, but to ensure their emotional and psychological development. We encourage independence and self-confidence in a warm and loving family atmosphere. We individualize our lessons to meet the needs of our diverse learners. 

Connecting with Parents

At All About Me, our level of parent to teacher communication is amongst one of our highest priorities. We want you to be a part of your child’s educational growth every step of the way, which is why we provide monthly calendars, daily schedule sheets, and are there to greet you with any questions you may have regarding your child’s day. Our open door policy is always active and any one of our managers is able to take your questions and provide avid feedback and answers. We want to work with you to make your child’s educational experience the best one.

All About Me Gives Back

At All About Me, we put much emphasis on the importance of giving back to our communities. Because of this, we donate to different local and national charities such as Make a Wish Foundation, Toys for Tots, United Way and Girl Scouts. Every winter we have a coat drive, and we consistently donate to the center for food action. We also make it a point to donate to all community food pantries.

All About Me stresses the importance of community safety by inviting local policemen and firefighters to come to our schools to discuss child safety.
